Why is it important to interview several Realtors when selling your house? As with any professional service, when selling your house, it is important that you work with somebody who has the skills and experience to overcome the many obstacles that sometimes come up when selling a property.

Here are a few great questions to ask a Realtor
1.     What are some of the marketing tasks you will do that are different from other Realtors in your market?
2.     What makes you uniquely qualified to sell my house in my neighborhood?
3.     What does your marketing strategy look like if we fail to sell within the expectation?
4.     What is your system of communication, and how often will I expect to hear from you?
5.     Are you full-time or part-time?
6.     What is your strategy for submitting an offer in a competitive market?
7.     How do you deal with multiple offers and how do you get me the highest price based on the terms?
8.     Can you provide me with a great list of trusted lenders, inspectors, and other needed contractors?
9.     Do you work with a staging expert to show my home in the best light, and do you pay for that?
10. What do you do to prepare my house for the highest price sale? Do you have a process??
11. Will you let me out of my listing contract if needed? If so, what are the terms of that agreement?
12. How much money do you invest in the sale of my home?
